Halozyme Therapeutics focuses on drug delivery, helping transform biologics from IV to subcutaneous (subQ) use. Founded in 1998, the company uses enzymes called hyaluronidases to break down hyaluronan, a component in the body's extracellular matrix. This allows for enhanced delivery and dispersion of injectable drugs by opening pathways in tissue temporarily.

Commercializing their Enhanze product. Centered around its recombinant human hyaluronidase PH20 enzyme. Using the drug delivery technology with partners from Roche, Johnson & Johnson, to AbbVie among others. Along with building its own pipeline along the way. Now generating well over $600M in revenue.
