Dyno was founded by Eric Kelsic, Adrian Veres, Sam Sinai, George Church, & Alan Crane in 2018 to bring machine learning to AAV gene therapies. Doing an incredible job building their platform & getting partners on board.

Dyno's platform, CapsidMap, comprehensively maps across the AAV capsid to generate different tropisms, better packaging, among other features. They do this by combining DNA synthesis & sequencing to screen every AAV capsid sequence & select the best capsid https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.aaw2900

With this platform, Dyno licenses out the AAV vectors they invent to co-develop with partners such as Novartis, Sarepta, & Roche/Spark. To pursue diseases, especially those with large patient populations, that other gene therapies are limited in.
