Ben & Kevin founded Quantalife. While Kevin & Serge were actually roommates. After Quantalife's acquisition, the 3 came together to build 10X initially focusing on genomic DNA. Pivoting to scRNA-seq, launching their first product in 2015 & taking the scientific world by storm.
